I was hoping for a lot more traditional do-it-yourself stuff. To make the Gael out of bananas one would need to eat quite a few or manage to create a small gael out of one peel cut up. I was hoping for things like “Use oil paint on a sized canvas and draw -something-” I know some tasks allow you to choose between digital and traditional, but I was really hoping for more hands-on, made-by-you things and not “cut up a picture and take a picture of you holding the picture.”
Also why are some tasks written one way but can be interpreted in a completely different way? For example the whole Desert thing?. Apparently we can be somewhere deserted too? But…Desert and Deserted places are different…things…okay @n@

I get that not everyone likes the collaborative tasks this year (that's fine), but when you're sitting there bitching about how your team is just ~*~TOO GOOD~*~ to be doing them, and could earn the points all by themselves...? Okay, you know what, someone needs to answer the questions in the questions forum. We only have a week to do scav; ‘take your time’ doesn’t work. Yeah, sure, maybe staff (Slash?) has a life! In that case they shouldn’t have planned a week-long event where you know there are going to be lots of questions and then understaff it or remove yourself from the premises during the event. ESPECIALLY during the first day when the heaviest influx of questions will be coming in.

Anonymous sent: Hnnnng, I was really expecting there to be a different distribution of tasks, the previous scavs involved tasks involving games onsite, site knowledge, etc. This one Is really lacking in that area.
Anonymous sent: I'd have liked it if we had been given a template spreadsheet for the pet/item tasks. There are over eight pages of HA items alone. I'm going to spend more time writing those out in a spreadsheet than I am anything else. Guh.
What? Um…. Ook then… So you’re saying I have to go someplace that’s NOT ACTUALLY A DESERT, like some wild scrublands or chaparal biome or something, that looks like a stereotypical desert, all because most people tend to pave over nature so an actual desert biome is no longer considered a desert to you?
